The workshop: Art of the Russian Artists-Jews: From the Avant-Garde up to Now Days was held in the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center on the 28th of April.

Alexander Shtatskih, Jonathan Brent, Yakov Bruck, Andrei Tolstoy, Ludmila Khmelnitskaya and Olesya Turckina gave their reports. The speeches of the leading specialists of the Avant-Garde dedicated to such themes as the formation of myths in art of Marс Chagall, specifics of collecting and keeping of the avant-gardists’ heritage, the Paris School phenomenon and experience of the Moscow conceptual art were attended by the representatives of the cultural institutions, state museums, representatives of the professional community and all those who are interested in the Avant-Garde.
