The Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center project gained a diploma of Intermuseum-2015.

June 11-15, 2015, the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center participated in Intermuseum, the annual International Festival of the Museum Industry. The unique possibility to visit the Bakhmetevsky Bus Garage and listen to the excursion of the most high-tech museum of the country without leaving the building of Manege – with the help of the virtual reality helmets.

Everybody who wished managed to visit the 4D-hall of the Jewish Museum, Fanconi, a famous café of Odessa, to get acquainted with the life of a Jewish shtetl, to dive into the history of the revolutionary beginning of the 20th century and listen to those who witness the Great Patriotic War.

The Tolerance Center held a master-class, which presented the unique interactive technologies. Our colleagues described how to effectively use them in the sphere of museums and education.

This year 25 participants, 5 of which became the finalists, were nominated for the Best Museum Architectural Project or Building Adjustment Project. The Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center project was acknowledged to be one of the best ones and gained a diploma of Intermuseum-2015.
