Arnold Lakhovsky's painting in the exhibition of the Museum of Russian Impressionism
The Museum of Russian Impressionism in Moscow was opened with a global retrospective of Arnold Lakhovsky’s paintings. The Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre gave Arnold Lakhovsky’s Jewish Quarter, Worms from its own collection. The painting was received from the private collection of Gregory Kazovsky, then it was restored at the Museum, and now it is considered to be one of the earliest and best works of the painter covering the Jewish theme.
It is a memorable event for us: it is the first time when we gave the painting from our own collection to be displayed at the exhibition of another museum.
