November 17, 2016, Moscow. The annual gala night of the endowment fund of the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center was carried out at the Bolshoi Theatre. It was the third event and its aim was to raise money to provide the framework for long-term development and future extension of the exposition of the Museum and Center created to promote the idea of tolerance and prevention of xenophobia in the society.

March 17 2016, during his official visit to Moscow Reuven Rivlin, the President of the State of Israel, visited the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center. Alexander Moiseevich Boroda, the Museum Director General and the President of the Federation of Jewish Communities of Russia, showed Reuven Rivlin the permanent exposition of the Museum dedicated to the history and culture of the Jews in Russia starting from the times of Catherine the Great to the present days and the unique collection of books of the Schneerson Library.
