The Expert Committee is a voluntary union of persons with specific expert knowledge in the field of history and culture of the Jewish people. The Expert Committee is engaged by the Research Center for the purpose of render expert assistance to the Research Center in its scientific, project-related, advisory activities, information outreach and other types of activities.
The Expert Committee’s objectives are:
- Provide advisory support to determine the most relevant issues and areas of activity of the Center;
- Identify opportunities and lines of cooperation between the Center and international/Russian scientific and educational centers;
- Conduct scientific and expert assessments in various areas of Center's activity (develop and prepare updates of the main exhibits, temporary exhibitions, conferences, publications and other projects of the Center);
- Carry out activities of the expert evaluation commission aimed at procurement and evaluation of the museum collection items.
