Yevgeny Geller’s “MatriX” Game at the Tolerance Centre
On the 7th July, the Tolerance Centre team took part in a demo of the “MatriX” game devised by our partner and friend Yevgeny Geller. The game aids in considering strategic points in the planning and development process by means of non-standard, creative techniques.

The Swiss Embassy at the Tolerance Centre
On the 25th June, the staff of the Swiss Embassy in Moscow underwent training at the Centre of Tolerance. In their two working languages of Russian and English, they were not only able to come to agreements within the group while solving various tasks, but also to discover a new flavour of inter-cultural communication.

Exhibition “Indians in the 21st Century. Fort Ross: People of the Same Land, Then and Now”
The descendants of the Native American tribe of the Kashaya, living to this day at the settlement of Fort Ross in California, paid a visit to the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre with their exhibition programme on the 23rd and 24th June. They sang, danced, played musical instruments and spoke about their culture.

The opening of the “I am a World Citizen” photo exhibition
The 19th of June saw the lobby of the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Centre host the opening of the photographic exhibition “I am a World Citizen” (in a joint measure with the FOCUS-MEDIA foundation).

The Festival of Good Deed
On the 3rd of June, the Tolerance Centre hosted the concluding event of the first tier of its “Five Steps to Tolerance” programme, which has been implemented at the Centre over the last six months.

Cinema Club with Yelena Pogrebizhskaya
Thursday the 29th May, 16:00, saw another installment of the Tolerance Centre’s traditional Cinema Club, organised and presented by the TEFI (2008, 2009), “Laurel” (2008) and “Stalker” (2013) prize-winning documentary director, reporter and rock musician, Yelena Pogrebizhskaya.

The First Moscow Parade of Volunteers
This year, the Tolerance Centre has taken an active part in work with volunteer teams from institutions of secondary vocational education. On the 27th May, a Volunteers Parade took place at Vorobyovye Gory, constituting a real celebration for youngsters involved in setting up voluntary initiatives over the past academic year.

“My Drug-Addict Friend” a play by Forum-Theatre
On Wednesday the 21st of May, at 16:00, the last play of the 2013-14 season will be performed by Forum-Theatre, the successful premiere of which had taken place in April 2014.
