Everyone knows that there are social rules, rights and obligations in our society, reinforced by the law of the land. But what exactly are social rules when applied to real life? And how are the rights of even the youngest person linked with their obligations to the state and their family? An event for groups of schoolchildren of years 6-7 (ages 12-14).

My Country – My Geography
The Tolerance Centre's interactive multimedia programme “Civil identity of schoolchildren. I am a citizen of Russia”.
Each person has his history, linked with that of his forefathers, as well as with the history and vast geography of Russia. In remembering various places, we recall happy moments in our lives and people we have known, reliving them anew. Telling each other such stories, we draw closer, and our world becomes more beautiful and richer. An event for groups of schoolchildren of years 5-7 (ages 11-14).

Who am I?
The Tolerance Centre's interactive multimedia programme “Civil identity of schoolchildren. I am a citizen of Russia”.
The first session in the “Civil Identity For Schoolchildren” Programme addresses the theme of what helps us form a positive image of ourselves in society. An event for groups of schoolchildren of years 4-5 (ages 9-11).

Module 4. Volunteer school
Constitutes the participation of the trained volunteers in holding interactive events with children.

Module 3. Volunteer school
The 3rd module is focused on work with on of the main target groups for volunteers – children. The participants are introduced with the basic psychological peculiarities of the child age-group, the needs of children from children's homes, foster homes, as well as those in nurseries and pupils in the earliest years of school. The main part of the session is conducted in the format of a games workshop, during which the participants study the carrying out of one of the techniques of volunteer work with children – the “World Game.”

Module 2. Volunteer school
The 2nd module is focused on discovering the basic difficulties in determining areas of lack of knowledge and skills that volunteers encounter in their work, as well as means for their resolution. This is conducted in the format of a research laboratory. Each session is concluded with a training module designed to rally the volunteer team, to reflect the fact that team spirit and the skills of working together are a vital resource in the work of the volunteer.

Module 5. 'Leadership championship'
This module constitutes the concluding event for the “5 Steps To Tolerance, Tier 2” Programme.
The event takes place in three stages. In the third stage, on the counting of the votes, prizes are awarded to the winners, and certificates given to the ten best leaders. -

At the very start of the session, as is now customary, the leadership experience obtained by the participants in preparing and holding the “Different Opinions” action in their colleges is discussed.
