In the twentieth century, humanity had to face many events one wants to look away from: mass murder, the Holocaust, the use of nuclear weapons… Is there such a theory capable of explaining the structure of human violence? Is there a practice that can stand against it? French psychoanalyst Jean-Michel Vappereau attempts to answer these questions taking the teachings of Freud and Lacan as the starting point.
Jean-Michel Vappereau is a French mathematician and psychoanalyst currently working and living in Argentina. He was actively working with Jaques Lacan since 1971. Jean-Michel Vappereau became a prominent figure through his significant findings in the sphere of applying classical logic in psychoanalysis.
