The Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center together with the Museum of the Jewish History in Russia with support of the Charity Fund SAFMAR present the exhibition: Between Two Worlds. Memory of a Human and Immortality of the Soul in the Jewish Culture.
The exhibition is dedicated to the key values in the Jew religion, traditions and customs of the Jews reflected in historic, documentary and cultural evidences.
The exposition is divided into four thematic directions: a human as part of the community of Israel, customs and rituals, epigraphy, ethnography. Rare text and visual artifacts of the Jewish culture will be exhibited – a ritual carriage from Transylvania, archive photos, graphics, miniature sculptures and documentary videos.
The exhibit items provided by the Museum of the Jewish History will lift the veil of mystery of the immortal traditions and customs of one of the most ancient nations reflected in the world fine art and literature.
